7-Unit Play. Take Nashville Predators (-110) over St Louis Blues (Friday @ 3pm est)
After a four-game losing streak, the Predators finally have gained traction with a season-best three-game winning streak. They come to St. Louis on the heels of their 4-2 victory over the Calgary Flames at home. Former Blues captain Ryan O'Reilly has two goals and four assists for the Predators during his five-game point streak. Friday will mark his first game back in St. Louis since the Blues traded him to the Toronto Maple Leafs last season. He joined the Predators as a free agent during the summer. We think O'Reilly will pump his team up to get this win and the Preds seem to have turned the corner in general. Nashville will play without forward Cody Glass, who is sidelined week-to-week with an upper-body injury, but we love teams with some of their top guns out, they seem to come together and rally. Let's roll with the Preds on Friday. Predators are 11-5 in their last 16 when their opponent allows 5 goals or more in their previous game. Blues are 1-4 in their last 5 after scoring 5 goals or more in their previous game.
