Both of these teams are coming in here off two MONUMENTAL wins - Kentucky just beat Auburn on Auburn's home floor 70-59, which was Auburn's 1st home loss of the season, and not only that, they held them to their lowest point output of the year, and that is coming off the heels of holding Ole Miss to 63 points before the Auburn game, so the Wildcats are locked in defensively as of late - LSU on the flip side, just overcame a 16-point, second-half deficit and won in the final seconds vs South Carolina which is a HUGE win for them as SC was #11 in the country at the time, and LSU has played a lot of tough teams very close this year...the most recent heart-breaker was a two-point loss at Florida just four days before the win at South Carolina - Also by only two at Georgia and by four at home against Texas A&M, so these dudes hang around and make it interesting, an I will say...coach Matt McMahon has these guys believing in themselves and I think LSU can hang tough here at home - Probably a good contrarian play because the world will want to back KY after their performance vs Auburn, which makes sense, HOWEVER, I think LSU will continue to ride that momentum and hang around here just like they've doing all year - Remember KY has won the last two H2H here so LSU has some revenge as well...and I like the Tigers in this one.
