Take #120 Oregon Over Penn St
(NCAAF) Nittany Lions (PSU) vs. Ducks (ORE),
Point Spread: -3.50 | -105.00 Ducks (ORE) (Home)
Result: Win
These two teams play in primetime with not only the conference title on the line, but a coveted first-round bye in the expanded 12-team College Football Playoff. The winner at Lucas Oil Stadium on Saturday will get a 1st round bye. Oregon quarterback Dillon Gabriel has had an outstanding season, earning both the Big Ten Offensive Player of the Year and Quarterback of the Year honors on Tuesday. Gabriel ranks second nationally in completion percentage at an impressive 73.5%. He has thrown for 3,275 yards, placing him 10th in the country, and is tied for 12th in total touchdowns with 31, including 24 through the air. Jordan James has been a workhorse, amassing 1,166 rushing yards and finding the end zone 13 times, showcasing his ability to dominate on the ground. Meanwhile, Tez Johnson has been Gabriel's go-to target in the passing game, tallying nine touchdown receptions, which ranks third in the Big Ten. We like Oregon to do their thing here, and James Franklin is a fade coach for us, so we will roll with the Ducks.
