When Paul Skenes is on the mound, there's a good chance we won't see much scoring. All Skenes has done is record a 1.93 ERA and 0.87 WHIP as he looms as the likely NL Rookie of the Year, and moreover, his games are almost low-scoring by default, as five of his last six starts have featured scorelines that didn't clear five runs. The only question he have about the "under" here is the Astros' Jake Bloss, who regressed in his third career start last Tuesday at Oakland.
