This is a bit of a fat price for us to lay, but we're going to do it anyway with the hot Royals, whoa re once again taking advantage of incredible sequencing in their schedule, which earlier deposited the lowly Chisox at just the right times (first two weeks of the season, right out of the All-Star break) and now the rapidly-descending Tigers, who have looked dead in the water lately after not making any significant adds at the trade deadline, and the brief rally in earlier July now well back in the rear-view mirror. Michael Lorenzen makes his first start for KC after being added from Texas, where Lorenzen proved capable of serviceable 5-inning stints.
