Tense and taut to be sure thus far in this low-scoring series at the Coliseum, with three "under" results and just 10 runs being scored sicne Monday. A good chance at more of the same today, as the A's have gotten good work from ex-Buc Osvaldo Bido, who hasn't allowed a run and hardly a hit (only three) across 12 IP in his last two starts. For August, his numbers are superb--1.00 ERA and 0.83 WHIP. Meanwhile, Tampa Bay's Jeffrey Springs has been similarly effective lately, allowing just one run in each of his last two starts, going five innings in each.
