White Sox at Orioles
(MLB) White Sox (CWS) vs. Orioles (BAL),
Point Spread: -1.50 | -142.00 Orioles (BAL) (Home)
Result: Loss
The real question these days with the Chisox is if we want to merely lay the traditional one run on the Run Line or angle for a better price by laying an extra run. As the payoff will be the same, we'll just stick with the traditional RL and won't worry too much about making a choice. Indeed, any argument seems good these days against the Pale Hose, now on 12 losses in their latest skid and a numbing 5-45 (5-45!) across their last 50 games. And we wouldn't worry too much about the Run Line as the Birds have outscored the Sox 22-3 across the first two games of this midweek set at Camden Yards. Closing in on he '62 expansion Mets and their modern-day mark for losses (120), the Chisox are unlikely to get much help from rookie Jonathan Cannon, saddled with a 6.31 ERA in August. Meanwhile, O's starter Albert Suarez seems to be steadying himself nicely for the playoffs, with a 1.15 ERA across his last five starts. Play Orioles on Run Line
