Only a half-game separates them into Thursday, with NY's seven-game win streak putting enormous pressure on the Braves. Who, to their credit, have held serve in the first two games of this midweek set vs. the Rockies, allowing just 2 runs in the process. That Colorado can't get its offense moving is a recurring theme this season, and pressure on Austin Gomber, (just 3-7 with a 4.89 ERA on the road) to keep the Rocks within earshot. That won't be easy, as Reynaldo Lopez has rejoined to the Atlanta rotation with a 1.59 ERA in three starts since his mid-August return.
