Follow along here, as it might take some explaining on our part to recommend the weak-hitting Marlins against Bucs star rookie and All-Star starter Paul Skenes, with his 9-2 record and 2.13 ERA. Note, however, the duration of Skenes's appearances have become more limited, with five innings now being the norm. So, even if Skenes is on the mark, Miami should have plenty of chances against what has been an inconsistent Pirates bullpen. Granted, Valente Bellozo has blown hot and cold on the mound for the Marlins, he has shown extremely well at times, such as his last start when spinning six shutout innings at the Nats last Wednesday.
