There was some Mets magic in the first round vs. the Brewers, as Carlos Mendoza has has the hot hand lately and rolls the dice once more by sending to the mound Kodai Senga, who hasn't pitched since July 26 due to triceps issues. The Phils are not likely worried, as they have excelled in this round (vs. the Braves) the past two seasons. Zack Wheeler is the guy Rob Thomson wants on the mound, as Wheeler continued his torrid pace right thru September, when he posted a 2.23 ERA in five starts. At CBP this season, Wheeler spun a 2.31 ERA as he posted a 10-3 record.
