Once in a while this season, the Penguins of old have resurfaced, such as the 4-2 win over the Caps on the weekend in D.C. But now Pittsburgh returns back to PPG Paints Arena, and the last time they came home from a road trip they were beaten soundly by Minnesota in Marc-Andre Fleury's return (and last game) in the 'burgh. Still, the Pittsburgh roster is now looking like a patchwork, as attempts to keep the Crosby-Letang-Malkin core together from the Stanley Cup days has not proven a proper course of action. Roster additions have been spotty, and goalie Tristan Jarry's problems and demotion to the minors have caused Mike Sullivan to scramble, giving Joel Blomqvist (3.25 GAA) more work in goal than he probably warrants.
The Stars have been a bit more erratic than Pete DeBoer envisioned, but they've only lost back-to-back once this season, and much trust Jake Oettinger (6-3-0, 2.60 GAA) in goal. Play Stars on Puck Line
