Time perhaps to take a lead here against the Penguins, whose four-game win streak was stopped by the Rangers at MSG last night. That Pittsburgh had made a mild about-face rated as something of a surprise as the Pens had ranked low in a variety of metrics, including opponent odd-man rushes and quality scoring chances. The brief surge is always a possibility with the old championship core featuring Sidney Crosby still in the mix, but too many flaws in this Penguins side to not think they'll start to go in the wrong direction again. The Leafs are off a tough 3-1 loss tot he Caps last night but had won seven of eight prior, and Joseph Woll (7-2-0, 2.11 GAA, .922 saves) has been very solid in goal this season.
