For sure, Army and Navy are both well upgraded this season. But considering that last year's "total" for this game was between 27-28, depending upon the day of the preceding week, this 40 looks like a mountain to climb. The main reason? it's a Commander-in-chief's Trophy game, and the dueling option attack (air Force included) tend to shorten the games. Annually, these games feature 15-25 fewer snaps than other college games that don't feature two ground0heavy offenses that rarely throw--or stop the clock with incompletions.
