The Tar Heels are probably still in the Big Dance field, but many more losses like last Saturday vs. Stanford and UNC is going to slip into the realm of double-digits seeds and start to fall nearer the Selection Sunday cut-line. Meanwhile, Wake Forest is making its own move toward the bubble with five straight wins and the hottest scorer in the ACC, former Gonzaga G Hunter Sallis, scoring at a 25 ppg pace since January 17. The trend to note here, however, is the Tar Heels' recent stretch of "unders" now at six after last weekend. So much of the Heels' offense revolves around Gs J Davis and frosh Ian Jackson, with little production in the paint, and Steve Forbes is unlikely to allow UNC to run as it might wish.
