Some real stench in the NBA basement these days where several going-nowhere teams look to have already run for the bus with the end of the season now looming on the horizon. The Wizards are one of those for whom the season can't end fast enough, and we're not sure if Washington hit a lower note in the 115-112 Saturday loss to a depleted Brooklyn or the humiliating 162-109 beating the Wiz absorbed from the Pacers in their preceding game. Meanwhile, Miami is showing a bit of class by winning four straight for Erik Spoelstra, whose team now looks comfortably in the play-in field and now focused to at least reach the nine slot and get a do-or-die game at home vs. the Bulls.
