Humiliated last night in a return for many of its players to their old minor league home in Sacto, the Giants are a prime "humiliation bounce-back" candidate for tonight. Friday's humbling 11-1 loss to the A's properly stings, but the pitching matchup tonight should definitely favor SF, as Logan Webb has consistently maintained his ace status for Bob Levin's staff, and just completed a June in which he posted a 2.23 ERA and 1.02 WHIP. Meanwhile, A's starter Luis Severino has had a devil of a time in his last two starts, surrendering seven runs on each occasion in losses to the Tigers and Yanks, and foes have ended up scoring double-digit runs in his last three starts.
