The Dodgers probably wish they could have skipped this past weekend; they might have won the battle on the weekend vs. the Royals, taking 2 of 3 from KC, but most definitely lost the war with both Yoshinobu Yamamoto (arm) and Mookie Betts (broken hand) going down until further notice with injuries. They now limp into Denver while worrying about who might be next on the injury list. On the surface the Rockies wouldn't seem likely to provide much trouble, but drill a little deeper and you'll find that Cal Quantrill is one of the hottest pitchers in the NL, with Colorado winning six of his last eight starts, in which he's also posted a 1.91 ERA. True, only two of those were at Coors Field, but the Rocks won each while Quantrill spun a 2.25 ERA. Dodgers starter James Paxton could also be shaking at the prospect of pitching in Denver after posting a 5.23 ERA in non-Coors Field road starts this season. Play Rockies on Run Line
