Oilers at Panthers
(NHL) Oilers (EDM) vs. Panthers (FLA),
Money Line: -105.00 Oilers (EDM) (Away)
Result: Loss
The first comeback in a Finals series from an 0-3 deficit since the Maple Leafs in 1942 is there for the taking tonight with the Oilers, who have turned this series with the Panthers since the third period of Game 4 on June 13. Since then, Edmonton has outscored Florida 20-5, having solved the riddle in goal that was Sergei Bobrovsky. So balanced have been the Oilers that even when Connor McDavid, in the midst of a record-setting postseason, didn't generate a point in Friday's Game 6, the rest of Edmonton's lineup filled the gap very nicely with five different other Oilers netting goals. Stuart Skinner has also grown in confidence in goal as the series has progressed and has resembled his form from January when he posted a 1.33 GAA and .953 saves. Paul Maurice's mind games didn't work for the desperate Panthers in Game 6 and now sit instead on the brink of NHL ignominy. Play Oilers on Money Line
