I've got picks for both the spread and the total in this game, and it's a feast-or-famine philosophy based on one question: Are we SURE Notre Dame is any good?

Credit to the Fighting Irish for bouncing back off of a terrible loss to Northern Illinois. It could've derailed their season, but they're back on track and are set for a spot in the playoff if they win out. Still, their best win was a season-opening triumph over Texas A+M, and this game presents a unique challenge.

Army's run game is one of the best in the country. The Black Knights also boast a stellar defense that limited North Texas, one of the country's most explosive offenses, to just three points. I think there's a chance their ground game takes lots of time off the clock, and given the game flow, 14.5 hits me as several points too many.

Notre Dame should win this game, but give me Army getting more than two touchdowns.
