Two bottom-level Mountain West teams square off in one of Saturday's final games. However, I think it's well worth your time given a matchup that jumps off the page.
Air Force is suddenly red-hot, having won three in a row after a 1-7 start. Their gameplan is no secret. They want to run the football on offense and stop the run on defense. During this three-game win streak, the Falcons have racked up 932 rushing yards (310 a game) while yielding just 158.
This makes them a horrible matchup for the Aztecs. San Diego State can run the football behind thousand-yard rusher Marquez Cooper, but their defensive front seven has had a horrible few weeks. Utah State ran for 323 yards against them last week, while UNLV totaled 253 rush yards two weeks ago and New Mexico added 300 the week before that. If Air Force can contain Cooper and force SDSU to throw, I think it could be a long day for the Aztecs.
Take the Falcons and give the points.
