Despite each team's "ace" on the mound tonight, I expect this total to fly over the number in the latter innings. Max Scherzer (7-4, 2.10 ERA) of the Nationals and Yu Darvish (7-3, 2.65) will be careful not to have any lapses here in their final start before the All Star game. It's impossible to say too many negative things about either, but these teams have been mashing the ball of late and I think that trend continues here. The Padres have seen the total go over in four straight.
