T.M. Selection: Atlanta Braves.

I like the Atlanta Braves to win this game against the Philadelphia Phillies on Tuesday. The Braves have been hot in their games lately and I expect them to bounce back here after a game where they almost beat the Phillies. Spencer Strider (4-3, 3.03 ERA) is up for the Braves here and he has been great in his starts this year. He just had a bad start but I expect him to bounce back here since he hasn't given up more than 2 runs in a majority of his starts this year. He also strikesout a lot of batters, doing it all year in his starts, and I see him shutting down the Phillies lineup here which really hasn't been great lately. Aaron Nola (6-7, 3.13 ERA) is up for the Phillies here and he hasn't looked great in his July starts. He started to look shaky near the end of June and has given up 3+ runs in 3-4 of his previous 4 starts now. He has pitching very deep into a lot of his starts and I think he will do the same here, but give up more and more runs the deeper he goes and I think he will eventually blow this game for the Phillies by putting them in a position where they are down late in the game. I like the Braves to win this game.
