T.M. Selection: Athletics/Angels UNDER.

I am on the under in the Oakland Athletics vs LA Angels game on Wednesday. The Angels have been involved in some low scoring affairs lately, seeing 7 runs or less in 2 games in a row now, and their offense hasn't looked great in those games putting up 3 runs or less in 4/5 of their previous 5 games. The A's have also been involved in some lower scoring affairs lately, seeing 5 runs or less in 3 games in a row now and their offense has really died down too from what it was a week ago. They haven't put up more than 2 runs in 3 games in a row now and they have one of the worst offenses in the league this year. Shohei Ohtani (9-6, 2.36 ERA) is up for the Angels here and he has looked really good in his starts lately. He hasn't given up more than 2 runs in 7/8 of his previous 8 starts and he has struck out 10+ batters in 6 games in a row now. I expect him to shut down this bad A's offense here and keep this game low scoring. James Kaprielian (2-5, 4.50 ERA) is up for the A's here and he hasn't looked great all year but he has looked a lot better in his starts lately and I think he is going to continue improving in this game. He hasn't given up more than 3 runs in 6 starts in a row now and I think he will have another good game here against an Angels offense that hasn't looked great lately. I like the under in this game.
