T.M. Selection: St Louis Cardinals.

I like the St Louis Cardinals to win this game against the Milwaukee Brewers on Friday. The Cardinals have lost 2/3 of their previous 3 games now but they were very hot right before their series with the Rockies and I expect them to bounce back in this game being back at home here. The Brewers have won 2 games in a row now but they really haven't looked great lately, struggling to beat the Rays in those games while the Cardinals have been putting up a ton of runs in their games. They have also been pitching really well lately, they weren't great at Coors Field in that last series but I expect their pitching staff to bounce back at home here. Eric Lauer (8-3, 3.59 ERA) is up for the Brewers here and he has looked good lately but he hasn't pitched well against the Cardinals this year and I expect him to give up some runs to them again in this game. Jordan Montgomery (4-3, 3.53 ERA) is up for the Cardinals here and he wasn't looking great in his starts lately which caused him to be traded, but he has looked a lot better as a Cardinals, shutting down the yankees for 0 runs in his most recent start, and I expect him to continue pitching well here with some new found confidence. I like the Cardinals to win this game.
