Nashville Predators beat the Detroit Red Wings 3-2 in a shootout in game 1 however this should not have been that close of a game. The Preds are fighting for the last playoff spot in the Central Division and they need these points. Nashville is 8-2 in their last 10 games with Roman Josi looking like an offense threat each time he touches the puck. Detroit has called it a season and players are playing for their jobs. They have lost 4 of the last 5 and are getting slaughtered in shots on goal. Thomas Greiss will be in the pipes for Detroit and he is 3-15-6 on the season.
