A's over Astros- Back on Monday April 13 I saw these two clubs go at it in Houston as Oakland crushed the Astros and my thought were that the A's were the far superior team and that the young Astros had a lone way to go. Well, here we are five weeks later with Houston posting the best record in the AL at 25-14 and the A's bringing up the bottom in the AL at 14-26. Oakland halted a four-game losings streak last night and will have one of baseball's best on the mound in Sonny Gray (4-1, 1.61 ERA) who is 2-1 with a 2.05 ERA in three career starts against Houston. The Astros will start veteran Roberto Hernandez (1-3, 4.12) who is 5-7 with a 4.84 ERA in 14 career appearances against the A's. Take OAKLAND!
