Pirates over Mets- With the fanfare and attention that Mets starter Noah Syndergaard (1-1, 3.18 ERA) is getting from the media I took note that the price of this game is as high as it is. (I expect the number to drop) New York has struggled on the road winning just seven of 19 and that could be part of it as well as their weak hitting line-up. Pittsburgh has lost their last two games to drop to a season low four game under .500 as they have lost seven of their last eight. Gerrit Cole (5-2, 2.40) has been the Pirates ace with six quality starts in seven appearances. Although 0-2 against the Mets Cole gets the win here. Take PITTSBURGH!
