Yankees over Royals- They're back! Speed on the bases and power at the plate, break up the Yankees! All it took was a 1960's performance by the Bronx Bombers to have NYC buzzing about the future of baseball at Yankee Stadium. Wait, let me think New York has now won two of their last 12 games as but blasted five home runs Monday as every starter had at least one hit. Tonight Kansas City will start Jason Vargas (3-1, 5.26 ERA) who is off the disabled list to replace Danny Duffy who went on to the disabled list and that is not good news for the Royals. Vargas is 0-4 with a 6.75 ERA in eight career appearances against the Yankees while New York will start Adam Warren (2-3, 4.26) who has been a victim of weak support. Warren has allowed the Royals one run in 6 2/3 innings. Take the YANKEES!
