Yankees over Royals- After dropping nine straight and 10 of 11 the Yankees have returned home and taken down the Kansas City Royals the first two games of this three-game series. The first place Yankees (really I'm not joking) have now won only three of their last 13 games with all wins coming at the expense of the Royals who has now dropped three straight while scoring only three runs and allowing 25. Chris Young (4-0, 0.78 ERA) has allowed only one run in his four starts and is 3-1 lifetime against the Yankees who will start Michael Pineda (5-2, 3.59) who has struggled in his last two starts after striking out a franchise high 16 on May 10th. Pineda looks for revenge as he started and was pounded in that start against Young in Kansas City when he surrendered five runs and 10 hits in five innings against Young that day.
