Cubs over Royals- Baseball is such a game of streaks and right now Kansas City is in the mist of a four-game losing streak after having won seven of their previous eight games. The Royals will start Edinson Volquez (4-3, 2.77 ERA) against a team that he has defeated seven times without a loss. Chicago meanwhile has dropped three of four but this is not the sane Cubs team that Volquez dominated in the past with a 2.90 lifetime ERA as the addition of Kris Bryant and monster changes have made them much more formidable. Jake Arrieta (4-4, 2.95) who has 37 strikeout in his last 31innings is off his worst outing of the season but is 2-0 with a 3.12 ERA against the Royals. Take the CUBS!
