Reds over Nationals- Like so many teams that end long losing streaks the Reds have now won two of three after losing nine straight. Cincinnati will start Ralsel Igleslas (1-1, 4.26 ERA) who was dominating in his last home start allowing only two hits in eight innings against the Braves who is in the rotation in place of Johnny Cueto. The Nationals are losing players at en alarming rate as Stephen Starburgh was removed in the second inning Friday joining Jayson Werth, Doug Fister and Sammy Solls on the DL.
