Nationals over Cubs- These two NL contenders are struggling as they enter this series as they have both lost six of their last 10 and Chicago is winless in their last four series and Washington has dropped five of their last six. The Cubs Jake Arrieta (4-4, 3.18 ERA) has struggled of late posting a 3.99 ERA in May and is winless in his last three starts. Gio Gonzalez (4-2, 4.73) was hit hard last time (literally as he was HBP twice) but has won his last three decisions. Gonzalez is 22-11 with a 2.91 ERA at Nationals Park and is 3-1 with a 2.39 ERA against the Cubs while Arrieta is 0-1 with a 5.81 ERA against the Nationals. Take WASHINGTON!
