Marlins over Yankees- A small oddity tonight in Miami as two players that were exchanged in an off-season trade will both oppose their former teams tonight as the Yankees start former Marlin Nathan Eovaldi (5-1, 4.13 ERA) and Miami will start former Yankee David Phelps (3-3, 4.11) against New York. The Yankees are no longer in first place as they have dropped four of their last five after a seven game winning streak while Miami has won four of their last five. Eovaldi who surrendered a NL league high in hits allowed last season (223) has given up 88 hits in 69.2 innings this season. Phelps is 3-3 with a 3.62 ERA since moving into the starting rotation.
