Yankees over Tigers- Detroit was expected to run away with the AL Central but have now dropped three-in-a-row and four straight tot he Yankees and find themselves seven games back in the loss column to Kansas City. Fire-balling Nathan Eovaldi (5-2, 5.12 ERA) was pounded for eight runs on nine hits without getting out of the first inning in his last start at Miami suffering his first loss in over a month. One of his best efforts this season was a seven inning outing against Detroit where he allowed just one run in seven innings. Take NEW YORK!
