Kansas City at Cleveland 7:10 ET
Indians over Royals- I fell flat on my face yesterday with my selection of these same Cleveland Indians as the Royals jumped out to an early first inning lead and the Tribe was never able to recover, this time out I expect different results. Once again we find the stumbling Indians losers of five straight and favored over Kansas City who has won four in-a-row and 15 of their last 20 lead the AL Central by eight full games. The Royals are 22 games over .500 with the best record in the American League. Cleveland is an abominable 19-31 at home and will start Trevor Bauer (8-7, 4.29 ERA) who has one win over the Royals this season. KC will start Chris Young (8-6, 3.32) whose spot in the rotation is in jeopardy with the acquisition of Johnny Cueto surrendered six runs and eight hits to the Indians in early June. Look for all streaks to stop here. Take CLEVELAND!
