Blue Jays over Royals- The two most active clubs before the trade deadline passed were the Royals and Blue Jays who have picked up pitching and hitting in their multiple transactions. This 'price' looks a little heavy to me on Toronto's side when you consider Kansas City is starting Edinson Volquez (10-5, 3.21 ERA) against the Blue Jays R.A. Dickey (5-10, 4.27). When I see Volquez is 0-3 with a 7.30 ERA in five starts against Toronto I understand the odds makers reasoning. Dickey's record isn't attractive but he has surrendered three runs or fewer in 10 of his last 11 outings. Look for the Jays to bounce back from Saturday loss. Take TORONTO!
