Red Sox over Mariners- The Seattle Mariners who have won seven of their last 10 are still only better then the A's in the AL West and will most likely be without slugger Nelson Cruz because of a sore neck and he was in the mist of a 21-game hitting streak with eight homers in his last 11 games. Mile Montgomery (4-4, 3.25 ERA) who is winless in his last six starts has issued 18 walks in his last 25.1 innings and is making his first career start against the Red Sox. Meanwhile Joe Kelly (4-6, 5.96) is off one of his better outings against Detroit striking out seven in 5.1 innings picking up the win. Seattle is just 4-9 in Montgomery's starts while Kelly allowed only one run in 6.1 innings in his lone start against the Mariners. Take BOSTON!
