Kansas City at Tampa Bay 1:10 ET
Rays over Royals- It is as if these two franchises switched uniforms the past twp season as it is now Kansas City that has top-notch pitching and timely hitting while Tampa Bay is weaker in just about all facets of the game. The Royals have defeated the Rays in all six meetings this year and have won seven-of-eight while Tampa Bay has dropped five-of-six. The lone bright spot for Tampa of late is Nathan Karns (7-5, 3.69 ERA) who is unbeaten in his last 10 starts and will be facing Danny Duffy (7-6, 4.13) who has surrendered three runs or more in seven of his last 20 starts and took a loss in his only starts against the Rays.
