Angels over A's- The Angles have now dropped four straight while the Oakland A's have won their last three including an 11-5 victory over Los Angeles last night. Still, the angels are just 3.5 games behind Texas for the second AL wild-card spot and will be starting Matt Shoemaker (6-9, 4.48 ERA) who has struggled against Oakland going 0-2 giving up 17 runs in 18.1 innings to a team that has difficulty scoring runs. Cody Martin (2-3, 5.40) is making his first start after being recalled from Triple-A as all his work have been with the Atlanta Braves as he has appeared in relief 21 times. This start is just not going to work out tonight. Take the ANGELS!
