Hokies (+) over Tar Heels- Since their opening night loss to south Carolina the Tar Heels have reeled off nine straight wins and they appear to be getting stronger as they season progresses. Virginia Tech after hearing the announcement that coach Frank Beemer was going to retire at the end of the season responded with a come-from-behind win over Georgia Tech.
