New England vs. Atlanta 6:30 ET
Patriots (-) over Falcons- 1/24/17-My first thoughts on this matchup were that the Patriots with all their post-season and Super Bowl experience would have a decided advantage over Atlanta. The Falcons could will be over-whelmed by the constant pressure and scrutiny of every movement or thought. New England has done it before and has a coach that has been their before and won't allow distractions to become part of the preparation. A number of players and even a Falcons player has freaked-out during Super Bowl week and missed the game. Now, I'm not thinking that is will happen here but the pressure will be huge as 'new' experience. I think the knee jerk reaction here is to take Atlanta because of their offense although the Pats have received early money. Still wondering what story-line the media will come up with...I'll wait.
02-02-17- Okay, I've waited long enough and I'm saying with my original instinct. I know they money is heavy on the Pats but I am hearing more Atlanta talk everyday. I expect the New England 'hate' money to surface enough to help out the 'books.' I can give you a million stats but they won't matter once the ball is kicked-off. Take the PATRIOTS!
