Texas at Houston 8:10 ET
Astros over Rangers- Houston is off to a great start (17-9) and has dominated the AL West winning 13 of 17 match-ups. Much of their damage has been done at home where they are 10-5 and are 3-1 on their current home stand whereas their opponent tonight the Texas Rangers have struggled on the road winning just 3-of-10. Cole Hamels (2-0, 3.03 ERA) the Rangers starter may be unbeaten but his numbers show a huge drop-off in one critical area. Hamels has only 15 strikeouts in 33 innings after having 200 K's in 200 innings last season. Mike Fiers (0-1, 5.12) is favored over Hamels and is 0-1 with a 6.23 and that just does not make sense...Take HOUSTON!
