#477/478 ASA PLAY ON 8* Under 48 Points – Cincinnati Bengals vs Baltimore Ravens, Sunday at 8:15 PM ET - The Baltimore defense is ultra motivated for this game after allowing 41 PPG in BOTH games last year vs Cincinnati. The Ravens defensive numbers are a bit skewed this season because they allowed 42 points to Miami with the Fins scoring a ridiculous 28 points in the final 12 minutes of that game. Minus that, and the Ravens have allowed 26 points or less in every other game including just 23 to the high scoring Bills last week. They shouldn’t have much problem vs a Bengal offense that has been shaky at best this season. The Bengals rank 29th in YPP this season and QB Burrow is completing just 64% of his passes, down for 70% last year, and has already thrown 4 picks in 4 games this season. On top of that Cincinnati is only rushing for 89 YPG which ranks them 27th. The Bengals defense figured out how to slow down the Ravens last year allowing 17 and 21 points. Cincy’s defense is far ahead of the offense this season ranking 7th DVOA (per FB outsiders) and they’ve allowed 20 points or fewer in every game this season (in regulation). Both teams are slow paced with Cincy ranking 20th in seconds per play and Baltimore ranking 31st in that category. The average PPG in the NFL leading into this weekend was 42.8 well down for 47 at this time last year.
