San Francisco at Chicago Cubs 2:20 ET
Giants over Cubs- Chicago scored 17 runs yesterday in routing the Reds in Cincinnati, they had 18 hits and the first eight batter in their line-up raised their batting average. San Francisco has won six of the last 10 meetings but the Cubs are 2-1 this season taking the series at SF the second week of June. Logan Webb (9-11, 3.49 ERA) will take the ball for the Giants and he is looking for his first win in six starts with his last coming on August 2nd. Chicago will start their season’s best in Justin Steele (15-3, 2.69) who threw six shutout innings against the Brewers on Tuesday and has the lead for NL Cy Young. But, when eight guys improve their average on the same day I expect them to fall of a bit and what a perfect spot as they will be over-confident with Steele on the mound...I would be! Take SAN FRANCISCO!
