Twins over Astros- Maybe Houston is really this bad or just having an off-year but to see then in a virtual pick-em at home has caught my attention. So, the bookmakers in my mind have dropped them more than a notch. Minnesota may have an edge but not much with the starting pitching but in today’s game with Pablo Lopez (4-5, 5.25 ERA) who know how long they can throw before getting yanked. Some edge but Lopez has lost his last three starts surrendering 16 runs, 25 hits 5 home runs in just 16 innings. The Astros send Ronel Blanco (5-0, 1.99) to the hill and he has been noting short of sensational. A nine inning no-hitter to open the season on April 1 followed by a six inning effort giving up just one hit. On the year he has 54.3 innings pitched and given up just 33 hits and is still undefeated. So, why did this line open Pick-em...Take MINNESOTA! P.S....Oh yeah, he has ejected May 14 again Oakland out for using a band substance and was suspended 10 days. He returned with a six inning one hit effort! Something’s up?
