Royals over Red Sox- I am not going to give any credence to the notion that because I was a New York fan and enjoyed mocking Boston during my formative years or shall I say the Red Sox at every turn. But, I have matured, I am a professional who will play on or against any team any time if I believe that I have the winning side, That being said I have eased my position regarding the Beantowners (before 1900’s early nickname) but still get a bit of joy when seeing an opportunity to play against them (Note: I did post the Sox as a Best Bet winner yesterday). Also in my younger days the KC Royals were an expansion team that caught the eye of one of my baseball managers and he provided the team with new uni’s. An exact replica, with blue trim and script lettering ROYALS. It was a ‘trip’ but finally we were all wearing the same uniform. The Royals starter Brady Singer (5-5, 2.93 ERA) who is 2-0 with a 2.13 ERA against Boston has been fabulous and he has given up just one run in four straight starts and has been dominate. Take KANSAS CITY!
