Red Sox over Tigers- The Red Sox will try and even this three-game series after Detroit's 3-0 win on Monday. The Tigers reining Triple Crown winner Miguel Cabrera is nursing an abdominal injury and expected to miss tonight's contest. Boston has a half game edge over the tigers for the home field advantage for the playoffs and will send Jon Lester (12-8, 3.99 ERA) against Max Scherzer (19-1, 2.90) who's only loss came on July 13.
