Cougars (+) over Huskies- Two familiar rivals will hook up once again as the Washington Huskies and Brigham Young Cougars clash once again, this time for the first time in a bowl game, in San Francisco. Washington will have a new coach in Chris Petersen but he will be just an observer for this contest as Steve Sarkisian left for Southern Cal. The Huskies have won four of their last five games and although they are 4-1 ATS in their last five December games they are 1-4 ATS against teams with a winning record. Meanwhile, BYU has recorded wins against six teams going to bowl games. The all-time series which started in 1985 in even at 4-4 with BYU winning the last three. Make that four straight.
