L.A. Dodgers at Pittsburgh 7:05 ET
Pirates over Dodgers- The Dodgers have dominated this series the last 14 years winning 70 of 99 contests between the two including last night win in Pittsburgh. The Pirates who should be a small favorite in tonights encounter are 12-4 in their last 16 games as a favorite. The last thing Josh Beckett (6-5, 2.26 ERA) wanted was time off as he posted an ERA of 1.74 over his last nine starts before landing on the disabled list earlier this month. He is 1-2 with a 2.16 lifetime against the Pirates but is making his first career start in Pittsburgh. I don't like taking pitchers off the DL (see Cliff Lee last night). This time take PITTSBURGH.
