Braves over A's- The Atlanta Braves will being playing their third straight series against first place teams as the Dodgers and Nationals just left town and now the Braves losers of 12 of their last 15 will host the team with the best record in baseball as the A's are 25 games over .500. Oakland has just dropped 3-of-4 at Kansas City and four of their last five and averaged only 1.5 runs in those losses. Jason Hammel (9-9, 3.60 ERA) has struggled in his first four starts for the A's since coming over from the Cubs while Alex Wood (8-9, 3.08) has surrendered only three earned runs in his last three starts.
